I joined Chrysalis High at the naive age of 10. Comparing myself from back then, when I entered the school with wide eyes filled with innocence and childish wonder, and now, a graduated 16 year old, more knowledgeable and mature, I am glad that my journey was here. Throughout the years, I have had my fair share of ups and downs. I partook in a lot of extracurricular activities in school, which made my life more interesting and beautiful, but it was also hard. Balancing school-work and these activities was challenging, but when one truly enjoys doing something, they put in the effort to be able to do it for as long as they can, and get better at it. And that’s what I did. The friends and classmates that I had in this school had a large impression on me. They played a huge role in shaping me. My teachers guided and supported me through my journey are the ones whom I am thankful for. Their names have been etched in my heart, but more than that, it is their deeds that will stay. The school has helped me grow as a student and as a person. I will eternally be grateful to my teachers and peers for helping me throughout the years.
